Here’s an oldie - Kayla decorating our mom’s birthday cake this past December. She did it all by herself :)

Happy Valentine’s Day!!! <3
Happy Super Bowl to all! Who would you like to see win?

Check out the cute craft that Kayla made. It’s a beach scene with “Cupcake Sisters relaxing at the beach” written in the sand. Thank God it’s sunny in Miami.

If you’ve learned anything about me by now, you now that I love Ross and Marshalls for cupcake goodies. Check out the cute “cupcake jar” I found. Great for storing sugar, sprinkles or even cookies.

My dear friend Robyn, aka Grill Grrrl, is fabulous on the grill and shared her Candied Bacon Chocolate cupcake recipe. Check out the yummy recipe here.

While walking around Ross I found this really cool cupcake tray that was in the shape of a cupcake. Along with being a cool looking tray, I found out that it was also environmentally friendly.
Zak! Designs, the maker of this tray, is a company dedicated to making mealtime more fun through their tableware and kitchen prep products. This tray was actually made with recycled melamine. Not only does Zak! Designs create eco-friendly products, but they also participate in many environmentally friendly initiatives.
They are definitely innovative and trendy :)

Hello cupcake lovers!!!
First of all, HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
Secondly, we are SO SORRY that we haven’t been updating the blog. It has been a crazy month with finals, the holidays and the Tumblr issues, so blogging has been on the back burner. Luckily, we’re still been baking and have some great posts coming up.
xoxo

Delicious looking cupcakes in Downtown Disney
My mom brought us some cupcake lollipops to try from Allegria. It tasted more like cookie covered in chocolate than a cupcake. They looked cool and my brother loved them.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! We are thankful for our friends, family and health…and maybe cupcakes lol. We hope everyone has a great day!

Earlier this month, Kayla and I donated a gift certificate to Cupcake Camp Miami. Even though we weren’t able to make it, it was a great success. Here are some photos of the event!

Yesterday we had a big order for a family friend who was turning 50-years-old. They requested about 60-65 cupcakes in the shape of a gigantic 50 with guava cream cheese and vanilla bean with dulce de leche filling cupcakes.

The whole process was incredible time consuming because we had a mini “crisis.” It turns out that our vanilla bean recipe cannot be doubled or else you won’t get the same results. When the recipe is doubles the cupcakes do not expand as much and get hard. Kayla and I had no idea about this and had to make two extra batches to make up for it.

Luckily all of our hard work paid off and we were able to bake fab cupcakes that were a hit at the party.

And thank god for the extra set of hands we had for clean up.

Yesterday was my birthday and I turned 11. I went to Benihana for dinner with my family. It was also my best friend Gaby’s birthday and she decided to go to the same Benihana at the same time with her family. They sat at the table next to us. I had a great time especially since Alexa baked me and Gaby Oreo Surprise cupcakes. Here are some pictures from dinner of me, my brother, my sister Lauren and Gaby.
